Here are our answers to some Frequently Asked Questions

Q:

 Can you pick up or drop off my dog if I’m not at home?

A: Yes! If you leave detailed instructions, our driver can retrieve your dog from your home and lock up safely behind themselves. You will receive text notifications during every step of this process so you can be assured your home is secure and your pet is in good hands.

Q:

Can you take my dog to a vet appointment for their shots?

A: While we are happy to drop off dogs at their vet’s office for boarding or holding by the vet, we are unable to accompany them into their appointment.

Q:

How much would it cost to get my dog from point A to point B?

A: Within 15 miles from A to B, the one-way price for a single dog begins at $20, round trips at $35. Additional dogs on the same trip are discounted 15%.

Q:

Can you pick up my dog in Prairieville? Walker? Port Allen? Etc?

A: Yes! We service Baton Rouge and all of the surrounding areas. Just ask!

Q:

Does my dog have to be up to date on their vaccinations?

A: Yes, we require our Roux Riders to be fully vaccinated and up to date with their rabies, Bordetella & DHPP/DHLPP

Q:

Can my dog ride if he gets motion sickness?

A: Yes! We recommend administering anti-nausea medication at least an hour before pickup (check with your veterinarian for dosage). Additional cleaning fee may be applied.

Q:

Does my dog need to wear a harness for transport?

A: We highly recommend dressing your pup in a fitted harness in preparation for their trip with us. We use special dog seatbelts to buckle them in for the duration, and a harness is the safest option, in case of any sudden stops. 

Q:

Will you transport my dog if they are not spayed/neutered?

A: Yes! Please just notify us if your dog is still unspayed/unneutered so we do not seat them with other unaltered dogs.

Q:

My dog is 90 lbs! How can you get her into the vehicle?

A: Never fear! Our drivers are experienced in moving large dogs, and will bring assistance when necessary.

Q:

How and when can I pay you?

A: Our current preferred payment method is via Venmo or Zelle. We also accept cash, checks, PayPal, or Cashapp. Please submit payment no later than 7 days post their scheduled trip.
